Hi, my name is Bashiri Asad, and I am a singer/songwriter/all-around soulful cat from Naptropolis(#317, or for those unfamiliar with home-base, Indianapolis). I have been busy over the summer and part of the fall preparing for the release of my second project titled “The Space Between.”   The release date is October 25th, 2011 and my release show is the next day at The Jazz Kitchen.  I have spent the last year performing songs from my first project “I Am One” both at home and around the region(and, lately, outside of the region *YES!*), and now, I’m hoping that this project will show my growth as a singer/songwriter and hopefully as a performer.
